Amanda L. "Mandy" Gutshall
Amanda L. “Mandy” Gutshall, 41 of York died at Memorial Hospital on November 7, 2017.
Born April 14, 1976 in State College, PA, she was the daughter of Glenda (Bressler) Abrams and her husband Barry and the late Bryce E. Gutshall.
Amanda was a 1994 graduate of Central York High School, received a B.A. in Journalism from Lock Haven University and a M.A. in Journalism from Rosemont College.
Amanda was employed as an editor for Smart Brief of Washington, DC.
In addition to her mother and step-father, Amanda is survived by her maternal grandmother, Terry Bressler of Aaronsburg, PA; aunts and uncles, Dennis and Vickie Bressler of Milheim, PA, Mary Alice and Mark Weaver of Reedsville, PA and Kent and Caroline Gutshall of Yorktowne, PA; cousins, Chad and Corinna Bressler of Zion, PA, Troy Bressler of Spring Mills, PA, Damon and Dana Keeler of Reedsville, PA, Carol and John Packard of New York, Tina Gutshall of Yorktowne, VA and Shawn Gutshall of Yorktowne, VA and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Aaron B. Gutshall, her maternal grandfather, Glenn H. Bressler and her paternal grandparents, Russell R. and June Gutshall.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 13, 2017 at the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 1111 E. Market St. York, PA with the Rev. Danielle Neff, officiating. The family will receive guests from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
