Maryllyn May (Bentzel) Reisinger, 89, passed away at Pleasant Acres Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at 6:55 p.m. She was the wife of the late Robert R. Reisinger, who passed away February 17, 2010.

Born February 28, 1928 in York, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry C. and Bertha M. (Whitecomb) Bentzel.

Maryllyn graduated from William Penn Sr. High School in 1945 and Thompson College. She worked for the Bethlehem Steel Company until 1956, then spent her life as a dedicated wife, mother, and support to various volunteer organizations. Maryllyn was active and a past president in the Lincoln Chapter Auxiliary of the Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers. She was a long-time member of Shiloh United Church of Christ. She was a member of the "50 year Continuous Voter Club" of registered voters. Maryllyn retired as a life member and past president of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.

Maryllyn is survived by one son, Randall R. Reisinger and his wife Deborah L. of York, PA and one daughter, Jane M. Young and her husband Daniel W. Young of New Holland, PA.; three grandchildren, Tyler F. Reisinger of York, PA, Joseph R. Young and Rebecca J. Young, both of New Holland, PA, one sister, Lois C. Eberly and many nieces and nephews. Maryllyn was preceded in death by her twin sister, Madellyn A. Libert; sisters, Ruth B. Dallmeyer, Margret E. Ross, Mirriam R. Dallmeyer and Kathryn A. Griess; and brothers Clair L. Bentzel, Parke W. Bentzel and Irvin J. Bentzel.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at Shiloh United Church of Christ, 2251 Willow Road,, York, PA with the Rev. Michael Beynon and the Rev. Michael K. Fischer officiating. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Shiloh Union Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Shiloh United Church of Christ 2251 Willow Road, York, Pa., 17408.
