Larry Lyle Fyler
Larry Lyle Fyler, 68, died at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy, PA on September 13, 2017. He was the husband of Lydia J. (Snyder) Fyler with whom he celebrated 34 years of marriage on August 13, 2017.
Born in York on October 20, 1948, he was the son of the late Lyle and Lillian (Frank) Fyler. In addition to his wife, Larry is survived by a son, Garrett T. Fyler and his wife Lauren C. Pulinka of Pittsburgh; a daughter SSgt Eleanor K. Fyler of Eielson AFB, Alaska; a brother Jammie J. Fyler and his wife Deb of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Doreen A. Gross.
Larry graduated in 1966 from Central York High School. He was retired from Baker Refractories and was a former employee of Anaconda-Continental Wire and Cable. Following his retirement, Larry and his family enjoyed traveling to many National Parks across the U.S. Glacier NP, Yellowstone NP and Rocky Mountain NP were among his favorites.
Following cremation, the family will receive friends and guest on Monday, September 18, 2017 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Etzweiler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1111 East Market St., York, PA.
