Helen Catherine "Cathy" Caldarone
Helen Catherine “Cathy” Caldarone, 72, died at her home on Tuesday, August 29, 2017.
Cathy was born in York on January 26, 1945, and was the daughter of Janet (Slonaker) Brenner of York and the late Philip Roberts.
Cathy graduated from York High School in the class of 1962. She went on to Temple University and the University of Illinois at Chicago. She retired from York Hospital as a pharmacist. Cathy was a member of the American Association of University Women, took many classes at Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, and loved music and the opera.
In addition to her mother, Cathy is survived by her son, Richard P. Caldarone and his wife, Elizabeth Wright, of Vienna, VA; her aunt, Helen Stahley of York; her sister-in-law, Nancy Roberts of Miami Lakes, FL; several nieces and nephews; and many beloved friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Roberts.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of York, 925 S. George St.
