Obituary for Agnes A. Fisher (Frey)

Agnes A.  Fisher (Frey)
Agnes A. (Frey) Fisher, 84, formerly of Wrightsville, died at Pleasant Acres Nursing Home on April 25, 2017. She was the wife of the late George V. Fisher.

Born July 2, 1932 in Wrightsville, she was the daughter of the late William and Sara (Strickler) Frey.

Agnes was formerly employed as an office worker for Borg Warner.

She was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Wrightsville. She enjoyed watching the Eastern York High School Boys and Girls basketball teams and the Wrightsville baseball team.

Agnes is survived by son, Stephen G. Fisher and his wife, Amy of Dover; daughter, Elizabeth A. Stevenson and husband, Norman of Mountville; four grandchildren, Andrew Fisher, Amanda Fisher, Allison Fisher and Ashley Tomlinson; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 243 Hellam Street, Wrightsville, with the Rev. Timothy Sadler officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Community Care, 685 Good Drive, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125
