Obituary for Catherine L. Haugh

Catherine L. Haugh, age 83, of Wrightsville, died peacefully at home, Friday, March 24, 2017. Born in Lower Windsor Township on May 15, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Blanche (Haugh) Hivner. Catherine was the loving wife of the late James M. “Red” Haugh; he died on May 5, 2006.

Catherine worked for the former Hollis Sewing Factory in Wrightsville, and later worked as a cashier for the former Andy’s Market in Wrightsville.

Catherine is survived by her son: James N. Haugh of Wrightsville, her grandchildren: Dustin, Derrick, and Holly, and her three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Jean Markel, and many nieces and nephews. Catherine was preceded in death by her sister Zelda Fitz and her brother Jennings Hivner.

A graveside service for Catherine will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 11:00am, at Fairview Cemetery, 601 Hellam Street, Wrightsville with Chaplain Wesley Mast officiating.
