Obituary for
Erdine H. Hilt
Erdine H. Hilt, 94, died on February 5, 2017 at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Lawrence H. Hilt.
Born in York on December 3, 1922, she was the daughter of the late George and Lottie (Dellinger) Hess.
She was a member of the Church of the Open Door of Shiloh. Erdine was a graduate of North York High School and enjoyed reading.
Erdine is survived by two daughters, Kay Rishel and her husband Robert of York, Joan Young of Dillsburg; two sons Larry Hilt and his wife, Karen of Montana, David Hilt and his wife, Beverly of Spring Grove; six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and four sisters, June Mumford, Delores Mumford, Norma Schuck and Loretta Albaugh, all of York.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 1111 E. Market St., York, with a viewing from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Highmount Cemetery.
