Obituary for
Albert C. Ehrmann Jr.
Albert C. Ehrmann, Jr, 56, of East Prospect, died peacefully, Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Memorial Hospital. Born in Philadelphia on January 16, 1960, he was the son of Veronica (Jablonski) Ehrmann and the late Albert C. Ehrmann. Al was the loving husband of Mildred R. (Greenwald) Ehrmann; they were married August 29, 1980.
Al was a 23 year veteran of the US Air Force, serving in Operation Desert Storm. He was currently working for the United States Postal Service, where he was an electronics technician at the Lancaster Post Office.
Al was a member of the VFW. He enjoyed tinkering with anything with a motor and playing electronic games. His main hobby and enjoyment came from working on cars, especially his Chevy Impala and his Chevy Chevelle Malibu. Al was a family man above all, and he loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and mother, Al is survived by his children: Albert C. Ehrmann, III and his wife, Katie of Felton, DE; David M. Ehrmann and his wife Heather of York; and Dawn Marie Ehrmann of Yucca Valley, CA, and his sisters: Ronnie Spingler, Susan Ehrmann, Mary Ferrel, and Christine Ehrmann all of Philadelphia. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Luke and Pilar Ehrmann. Al was preceded in death by his beloved grandchild Jordyn Ehrmann.
A funeral service for Al will be held on Friday, September 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 700 Hellam Street, Wrightsville. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
